Don’t let financial issues stop you from enjoying a relaxing and rest-filled vacation. The good news is that a fabulous spa retreat is well within reach if you know where to look.

That’s where we come in, with the best affordable spas in the United States that keep quality high.

Calistoga Motor Lodge + Spa, Calistoga, CA

This throwback to a 1940s roadside motel is a chic retreat where you’ll be soaking up the sun and sipping on tasty drinks while lounging around their pool and spa. This trendy vacation area is located along the well-known Silverado Trail in Napa Valley.

Amenities include a classic bathhouse with a total of 7 different treatment rooms. The most sought-after is the soaking room with four clawfoot tubs perfect for sinking into. But the natural hot spring-fed mineral pools and build-your-own mud bar will catch your attention. The best part, services start at just $195.

Hacienda del Sol Guest Ranch and Resort, Tucson, AZ

This resort was once home to a girls finishing school and has been transformed into an unbelievable spa getaway, perfect for relaxation. The services listed on the spa menu are diverse, from hot stone massages to exotic mud treatments and even curated facials, with prices starting at just $150.

Hot Springs State Park, Thermopolis, WY

This land was once owned by Native Americans and was sold to the US Government with one stipulation; the natural mineral-fed springs must be available for free. So here is an uncommon opportunity to indulge in an all-natural spa.

To further the experience, book a stay at the onsite Days Inn. Unlike most roadside motels, this one contains pools and saunas fed by local hot springs for even more chances for natural rest and relaxation. Plus, it’s affordable at just $220 for a two-night stay.

New Life Hiking Spa, Killington, VT

A spa and resort named one of America’s most affordable several times in a row can be found in Vermont’s green rolling hills. Starting at just $220 per double room, we can see why.

They focus on the natural mountain air and lush greenery to help calm and relax each visitor. You can join a hike that passes local farms and has the potential to reach the highest points in the state.

After the lengthy trek, onsite chefs source local ingredients and present cooking classes each evening. Bookings also include a complimentary massage or facial for each day of the stay.
