Carnival of Twenty Something Finances – Cats Love Money Edition

Welcome to the November 9th, 2009 edition of the Carnival of Twenty Something Finances!

I’m especially excited for this carnival because it’s the innaugural blog carnival hosted at Foreigner’s Finances. I’m glad you decided to check out some great posts this week from a bunch of incredibly talented bloggers. On with the carnival!

My girlfriend has been cat crazy lately, insisting that we look into getting a cat for our apartment. I’m fending her off, but in the meantime here are some pictures of cats with money, intertwined with this week’s Twenty Something Finances posts. I’ve also posted links to the author’s Twitters, when available, so feel free to follow them over there as well.

Enjoy!

Nice work on the carnival! Who knew cats had such a strong interest in feline finance? :)

Thanks for hosting the carnival. This really was a great job (i.e. twitter integration was very nice). Thanks!

Thanks for including my article (which, admittedly, was rather ‘unique’ ;) ) and for all the kind comments. I hope you’re planning to participate in the next carnival; it should be a fun time!

You did a great job with the carnival so thanks for hosting and the cats are adorable. My cat Dinero, posts on my blog as well (hee hee) so I guess he needs to look at this carnival.

You should get a cat! They are a lot of fun, relatively inexpensive as far as pets go, and totally independent so you can still have weekends away.

They can travel well, though ours doesn’t. But the rewards of having a soft ball of fur sleep on your lap heavily outweigh any cost for food, litter or once a year vet trips. Do it! :)

Haha, I can’t let my girlfriend read your comment for fear of more cat talk. I’d eventually like one, but not as a 23 year-old living in a foreign country. I like being free and I think she does too. I guess LOL cats will have to do for now.

    Thanks for the comment!
